MC Mässan Stockholm 2013...

Spent Thursday through Sunday at the Stockholm MC Show with the Swedish Royal Enfield importer talking to new and old customers and judging by comments this is THE bike to have if you're a Swedish Hipster. We landed some orders and among them two big name Swedish celebrities. Now we only need the new Royal Enfield Cafe Racer to land here to....

 

As always the coolest bikes are the custom builds, the Honda CR 750 and Laverda are just sooo right, good friends Snygg-Drusse's Sportster and FixarErick's What-ever-it-is-V-Twin were favorites among the good stuff...

 

Among the new stuff the black on black Ductai Diavel rocks, Honda & Victory baggers were just a few but the best looking among a what seems like a flood of baggers. I look forward to drive and deliver the brand new Aprilia Caponord but IMHO the coolest bike/scoot for 2013 is the fuel injected, ABS, Anti Spin, all aluminium Vespa 946....

Winter Wonderland....

During the last couple of days Mosta Hill has had some 10-15cm of snow dumped all over the place, my Lil' Red Volvo tractor is just longing for spring and warmer weather...

DP says: As long as the temp stays above -15 it's OK...

Another monday, another auction, another batch of cameras, Minolta X 3, Braun Paxette, Zeiss Ikon, Voightländer Vito, Praktica VI, tripods, lenses, a compass and other need to have stuff...

DP says: I gotta stop this...

A day at the auction...

Having some time off from work I started the week going to an auction, I came home with some good stuff. A brand new Minolta 16 MG in it's original box, another great find was the Henning Moldenhawer designed 1965 Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 900M complete with speakers, so retro and it works, another lot no one bid on was a tray with some postcards, a stopwatch and a bunch of old letters, I got it for minimum bid and taking a closer look one of the envelopes was stuffed with Suisse Francs (probably worthless) and the stopwatch was a vintage 30 second around Heuer...

Analog Cameras...

As part of the New Year's Resolutions I had a look at my stash of good old analog cameras, some are from my dad, some have been given to me by friends and a couple I have picked up at auctions lately. I feel the urge to pick up some 35mm film and start using that Spotmatic II or CE-4 again....

DP says: The Camera Porn site got me thinking...

New Year's resolutions...

There's way to many unfinished projects here at Mosta Hill, 2-wheel, 4-wheel, buildings and stuff so the new year's resolution for 2013 must be: get the shit done and have fun with it!!!
