After seeing that YouTube clip of a GP800 humiliating a Gallardo I just had to get my hands on one, luckily we sell most of the bikes from The Piaggio Group so the Swedish importer let me have one for a week or so. Now I can relate to that video!!! that thing hauls ass!!! it's big, it's heavy but it feels like a much smaller scoot once on the roll and the power!!! it will easily and comfortably do 200kph and change but the power surge from standing to 150kph is unbelievable, it's like beeing shot out of a cannon. I went for a cruise and Stockholm showed it's prettiest side, sun shining with tons of bikes and people just enjoying it. As usual a stop at Mae Thai in Bålsta for some nudles before going home hit the sweet spot....

This weekend was spent at the local Ford dealership showing the 2009 lineup of Aprilia, Vespa & Piaggio, Saturday was sunny & warm and there were some arriving on bikes, Sunday was another nice Swedish spring day, going home I snapped this picture of some farmland all ready for spring plowing....

Some have asked "when will LTO hit the streets", "is the project dead", "are you a chicken" etc. so I guess it's time to show some of the progress. Right now I feel the overall look is right on the $$$, Speedway but not really, don't wan't to do it the other way around since another Swede has already done that, the handlebars feel just right and finally tyres have been decided on, the rear is a 4.0-19" Avon Safety wich looks a bit fat but I like it, front was harder, there aren't a buch of 23" tyres to choose from, I don't want Speedway rubber and not the fat new Avon 23" so I went with bicycle, YES it's a Nokian tire from a
