XR 1200 backflip

I have since I first laid my eyes on the XR1200 wanted one, once I saw MC Nytt Manfred's I just knew I must have one and this clip just makes me feel the need, the need for an XR1200 NOW....

EICMA 2009...

It's that time of year again, the MC Show in Milano has opened it's doors and since not beeing there I have been surfing around looking for the good stuff, alot of prototypes as usual and Moto Guzzi hit the floor hard with a bunch of concepts, two of them real nice futuristic bikes and one a retro cafe racer that looks ohhh sooo right. Aprilia Dorsoduro Factory another cool dark V-Twin as is the XR1200 X but the coolest of them all, BMW's 6 cylinder concept, I'll have one please....

Buell RIP.....

Always sad to se a brand go away, I have only owned one Buell it was not my favorite bike but it was innovative and full of out of the box thinking, cool looks but that's where it all ended. Listen to Eric Buell...

Fall is here.....

One of those awesome Swedish fall days, Saturday off work and decided to clean out the workshop at Mosta Hill and make some space for a couple of new Winter Projects, the YZ 490 is to be picked up next week and I might have scored a "full race" motor for it, we'll see, a set of Kawasaki mag wheels have been traded for a moped tune pipe from Indian Guru Benny. Dee- Dee Ducati will get her last outing tomorrow if the weather stays as nice as today. Now I can again have a beer with my bikes at night without having to climb over a ton of junk....

YZ 490....

Finally after spending some time searching Blocket, Enduro MX & E-bay I found an 1985 Yamaha YZ 490 ex Håkan "Carla" Carlqvist machine!!!! This will be a Mosta Hill winter project running beside Lucy Vespa, the monster air cooled 2-stroker will be something along the lines of a street tracker, or something, so now I need SR500 wheels, Fs1 fueltank, NCCR XR seat, UFO Vintage number plates, handlebars and a bunch of stuff....

Mods vs Rockers 2009...

Muscle Machine, right on...Dee-Dee Ducati by herself.. Peppe's TriTon looks alot like his NorPrilia!?!?!?!Coolest bike all day.....Mopeds Rule!!!Need I say more....½ size Guzzi....Two cool 4-wheeled rides...

Yesterday me and Dee-Dee Ducati went to town to beat the crap out of a shitload of Mods on Vespa, Lambretta and other not so mannly rides, we joined in with the Rocker Crew but sadly Dee-Dee is a bit too young (I like my girls young), the Rocker organizers has set a pre 79 limit on non Britt, Euro Trash bikes although I saw a load of new Triumph in the lineup, me and Dee-Dee joined in on the ride anyway and it was a blast riding on to S.t Eriksbron stopping up all trafic and meeting the Mods, ready to rumble. We all, Mods & Rockers joined up for a ride through at sun drenched Stockholm to Nytorget for the lineup & count, Rockers won by 2 rides. At Nytorget I had the chance to hang with a bunch of friends and cool people. A huge THANX goes out to Lambretta Club Stockholm and Ton Up Club Stockholm for a great day, although I felt a bit like an outsider but next year I'll be rolling on Lucy Vespa with the Mods Crew....

First Peppe from Raven MC came by with his ultra cool NorPrilia, frame based on a Norton Featherbed fitted with an Aprilia RSV Mille Rotax V-Twin, Cafe Racers don't get much better than this....Yesterday & today (Saturday) has been spent at Strul MCC for the 24'th anual Mälaren Runt Run, Dee-Dee Ducati did her first public outing and she played well with all. Did some serious looking around for a new headlight for the girl and it's a toss up between Harley V-Rod & Night- Rod, both look great and time will tell what I'll fit. There were a ton of cool bikes and some that caught my eye was the Flower Power Electra Glide, a tribute to the 40'th anniversary of Woodstock maybe, the Indian with brass seat and don't get me going on the Vespa with sidecar, that thing rocks my world...Last but not least, Kent Ryssen Farman of Norrvalla MC had no googles for night riding so we went by a gas station and picked up these faboulus protective googles so he could hit the road for the 120km ride hom in the rain, looking good there dude!!!!!

Dee-Dee Ducati...

First outing for my girl today, better late then never. I got her finished enough to roll on the road, sounds awesome, looks like you'll expect a stripper named Dee-Dee to look, slightly used but a sight for sore eyes, I'm in love!!! Now I have to go over all bolts so she'll be ready for her first public exposure, Mälaren Runt and later on Saturday nite it's Wheels Magazine Stockholm Crusing and I hope the girl will make a bunch of new friends....
