Scooterpremiären Stockholm 2009...

On Saturday I loaded The Shop Hack with a GTS300 & LX125 Vespa and drove down to Stockholm, unloaded then Ingela & I drove to Sjöhistoriska for the start of it all. Scooters new and old mixed with a great summer day, then the almost 200 strong line of scooters started to roll the streets of Stockholm to end up at Nytorget, a great day on 2-wheels with all smiles was had....

Gilera GP 800....

After seeing that YouTube clip of a GP800 humiliating a Gallardo I just had to get my hands on one, luckily we sell most of the bikes from The Piaggio Group so the Swedish importer let me have one for a week or so. Now I can relate to that video!!! that thing hauls ass!!! it's big, it's heavy but it feels like a much smaller scoot once on the roll and the power!!! it will easily and comfortably do 200kph and change but the power surge from standing to 150kph is unbelievable, it's like beeing shot out of a cannon. I went for a cruise and Stockholm showed it's prettiest side, sun shining with tons of bikes and people just enjoying it. As usual a stop at Mae Thai in Bålsta for some nudles before going home hit the sweet spot....

Open House @ Starol Racing...

On Saturday we had an open house at Starol Racing with a bunch of bikes & scooters from Aprilia, Gilera, Vespa, Piaggio & Hyosung to be driven and man did people drive!!! The biggest hit was no holds barred the Gilera GP 800 V-Twin scooter, close second was the Vespa GTS 300ie. I want to say thanx to the reps from Aprilia, Hyosung, Gilera, Vespa, Piaggio, Jofama & Garage 24 for showing up and talking to the customers and a huge thanx to Ingela for all the help with cookies and goodies!!!!

Italian day @ Skokloster...

For many years May 1'st has been the spring outing at Skokloster for all the Italian brand clubs, this year 25 of La Famiglia Aprilia Svezia met up at the shop then we all went out to enjoy the warm day and Italian cars & bikes galore....

Valborg Cruise in Sala...

Last night I jumped on the Dorsoduro for a trip to the annual Sala Cruise that kicks off the Hot Rod and Cruise scene in these parts of Sweden, a great warm evening with tons of cars from rad to rat....
